Dy delivers anew as La Salle routs UST

The DLSU Lady Spikers endured a 23-point explosion from Sisi Rondina, securing a 25-23 25-23 25-22 win in the UAAP Women’s Volleyball competition.

Kim Dy scored 12 with eight kills and four blocks to lead a La Salle squad that saw nine players score.

UST, meanwhile, only had six players on the board, with Rondina accounting for 21 of the team’s 37 attack pointa. Milena Alessandrini added 10, with the rest of the team just chipping in 14 more.

With the win, La Salle improved to 10-2, with Ateneo sliding to 9-4 after its straight-sets loss to UP on Saturday.

UST, meanwhile, slid to 4-9. The Lady Spikers still have Adamson and Ateneo left to play, while UST only has Adamson left on its schedule. — DVM, GMA News
