Throwback: DLSU-FEU Season 71 Women's Volleyball Finals

With the upcoming UAAP Season 80 women's volleyball championship Finals between the DLSU Lady Spikers and FEU Lady Tamaraws, some players and sports fans went on a trip down memory lane.

DLSU star player Stephanie Mercado, on her Twitter account, felt nostalgic that the Lady Spikers and the Lady Tamaraws will compete once again for the crown.

Meanwhile, Queen Tamaraw Rachel Anne Daquis posted on her Instagram account Tuesday photos of the last time when DLSU and FEU faced off in the Finals with the caption "almost a decade."

Nine years ago, the Lady Spikers brought the crown home to Taft Avenue with their four set-victory in Game 3 against then defending champs, the Lady Tams, 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21.
