Jaja Santiago, Saitama Ageo Medics sweep weekend matches vs Korube

Jaja Santiago and her Saitama Ageo Medics squad completed a sweep of their weekend matches against the Korube Aqua Fairies in the Japan V.League.

On Sunday, Ageo defeated Korube in straight sets, 25-14, 26-24, 25-12.

Santiago dropped 10 points on 6 attacks and 4 blocks, while teammate Mami Uchiseto had 17 points on 13 attacks and 3 service aces. Yuka Sato had 14 attacks in Ageo's 10th win in 16 games.

Kokram Pimpichaya led the offensive of Korube with ten attacks while Hinano Michishita had eight attacks in the losing effort.

Ageo will try to extend their streak next weekend against the NEC Red Rockets.
