Jayvee Sumagaysay, Madz Gampong to play as imports in Malaysia

Jayvee Sumagaysay and Madz Gampong have been added to the growing list of Filipino volleyball players plying their trade abroad.

In a Facebook post by the Malaysia Volleyball Association over the weekend, both Sumagaysay and Gampong are set to reinforce the Sarawak Hornbill in the MVL Championship set in March at the Astro Arena.

Sumagaysay and Gampong previously saw action for the Team Dasma Monarchs which ruled the 2021 PNVF Champions League last December against powerhouse Go for Gold.

The two are the latest Philippine representatives to play as imports abroad with Marck Espejo and Bryan Bagunas, who are boosting FC Tokyo and Oita Miyoshi, respectively, in the Japan V. League, leading the charge.

Another Philippine team member in Jao Umandal brought his act to Bahrain as he signed with Bani Jamra.
