Petro Gazz sweeps PLDT in Game 3 to set up finals clash with Creamline

The Petro Gazz Angels defeated the PLDT High Speed Hitters in straight sets, 25-17, 25-23, 25-15, on Thursday in Game 3 of the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference semis at the Mall of Asia Arena to book a slot in the conference finals.

MJ Phillips tallied 15 points for the Angels, while Jonah Sabete had 13 points. Grethcel Soltones proved to be effective on both ends of the floor as she listed 12 points, 11 excellent digs, and 11 excellent receptions.

Dell Palomata and Jovie Prado chipped in 10 points apiece for PLDT.

The Angels will face defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers who swept their semis series against the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.

The best-of-three Finals will start on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
