NU ousts Adamson, sets up duel with La Salle anew in UAAP Finals

National University will have the chance to defend their women's volleyball title after ousting Adamson University, 22-25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-15, on Wednesday in the UAAP Season 85 Final Four at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

This is the Lady Bulldogs' second straight finals appearance and they will face De La Salle University anew in the championship series starting on Sunday.

Michaela Belen tallied 29 points while Alyssa Solomon had 21 points in NU's seventh straight win, with Camilla Lamina tallying 21 excellent sets.

Kate Santiago had 15 points while Louie Romero had 14 excellent sets in the Lady Falcons' final game this season.

Back in Season 84, the blue-and-gold squad completed a season sweep to end their 65-year title drought.
