Women's volleyball team books semis slot at Singapore's expense as Alyssa Valdez returns

The Philippine women's volleyball team booked a semifinals slot as the squad dispatched Singapore, 25-17, 25-14, 25-13, on Thursday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

Alyssa Valdez also made her return to the national team after being sidelined due to an injury she sustained in December last year.

With the win, the national team capped pool play at 2-1 and will play Thailand in the semifinals on Saturday.
