Bryan Bagunas is putting his jersey up for auction to help his former teammates Joshua Retamar and Kim Dayadante, who have family members currently battling illnesses.

In a Facebook post Monday, the high-flying spiker formerly from National University said he's now seeking bidders for his official Japan jersey for the benefit of Retamar and Dayadante. Bids have started at P10,000, as per Bagunas.

"We humbly seek for your kindness as I plan to auction one of my Japan official game jersey to support my former teammates, Retamar and Dayandante," Bagunas said.

"Retamar's grandfather is currently in the hospital battling various types of illnesses, while Dayandante's sister is courageously fighting Stage 3 cancer."

Bagunas, who was part of the silver medalist national team in the 2019 SEA Games, played for four years in Japan V. League, boosting Oita Miyoshi  Weisse Adler as an import from 2019 to 2022.

"We earnestly hope for your goodwill in considering this auction. Thank you very much for your support."
