Indonesia sweeps Philippines in SEA VLeague

Indonesia defeated the Philippines in straight sets, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20, on Saturday in the Southeast Asian Volleyball League held in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Steven Rotter led the nationals with 13 points, while Marck Espejo added 10 points as the Philippines registered its second loss in the said leg of the tournament. Indonesia, meanwhile, improved to 2-0.

On Friday, the Philippines fell to Thailand in a five-setter.

The national team will face Vietnam on Sunday to wrap the second leg of the SEA VLeague.
