Premier Volleyball League Creamline Cool Smashers

Defending champion Creamline preserved its unbeaten run after making quick work of F2 Logistics, 25-19, 25-21, 25-16, in the 2023 Second PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza flaunted their usual forms as the former UP standout churned out a game-high 15 points built on 14 attacks laced with 11 digs as the Cool Smashers finished off the Cargo Movers in an hour and 25 minutes of action.

Galanza chipped in 11 points alongside six excellent receptions to give Creamline its sixth win in as many games while sending F2 to a 4-3 slate.

Meanwhile, Farm Fresh finally barged into the win column to end its seven-game slide after pulling off a similar sweep against Gerflor, 25-17, 25-17, 25-15 behind the duo of Kate Santiago and Trisha Tubu.

Santiago paced the Foxies with 18 points anchored all on attacks on top of her five receptions while Tubu chimed in with nine markers as they improved to 1-7 and sank the Defenders to a  0-7 hole.

Nxled was also victorious as it rediscovered its winning ways after overcoming a first set hiccup en route to a 22-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-16 stunner against Akari.

May Luna steered the Chameleons with 14 points while Jho Maraguinot and Lycha Ebon provided a huge lift with 13 and 12 markers, respectively, as they rose to 2-5 while dealing the Chargers their third straight loss to drop to 3-4.

The win also allowed Nxled to end a five-game slump and follow up its opening day win at the same venue last October 15.
