PVL: Cignal, Nxled sweep Farm Fresh, Strong Group

The Cignal HD Spikers and Nxled Chameleons swept their respective opponents in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Philsports Arena.

Cignal made quick work of Farm Fresh, 25-10, 25-14, 25-15, to improve to 5-2.

Jov Gonzaga paced the HD Spikers with 17 points anchored on 14 attacks, two aces, and a block to bolster Cignal's semis drive as it tied its record with Petro Gazz and Chery Tiggo. Farm Fresh, meanwhile, went down to 2-5.

Meanwhile, Nxled won in straight sets against the Strong Group Athletics, 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Ivy Lacsina had 16 points as the Chameleons claimed their second win in seven games. SGA, on the other hand, remained winless.
