Chery Tiggo, Akari sweep Cignal, Capital1

Chery Tiggo and Akari swept their respective foes in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The Crossovers defeated Cignal, 26-24, 25-20, 26-24, to improve to 6-2.

Eya Laure had 16 points anchored on 11 attacks, three aces, and two blocks to pace Chery Tiggo, while sister EJ had 13 points as the Crossovers held the fifth spot.

Ces Molina had 16 points as Cignal slipped to 5-3.

Meanwhile, Akari won in straight sets against Capital1, 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Dindin Santiago-Manabat had 25 points to lead the Chargers, with 20 attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

With the win, Akari improved to 4-5.
