NU celebrates double victory in UAAP volleyball

National University made a rare feat on Wednesday as it won both men's and women's volleyball titles in UAAP Season 86.

Both squads defeated their counterparts from University of Santo Tomas as the NU Bulldogs defeated the UST Golden Spikers in Game 2 of the Season 86 finals, 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, while the Lady Bulldogs beat the Golden Tigresses, 25-23, 23-25, 27-25, 25-16.

The last time a double title in the men's and women's divisions were won was back in Season 77 in 2015.
