Alyssa Solomon, Majoy Baron, Mars Alba, Maddie Madayag apply for KOVO Asian Quota Draft

Collegiate standout Alyssa Solomon and pro players Majoy Baron, Mars Alba, and Maddie Madayag threw their hats in the ring in the upcoming Korean Volleyball (KOVO) Asian Quota Draft.

Their names were included in the list released by KOVO on Thursday.

Solomon, a 23 year-old opposite, is currently playing with National University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.

Baron, meanwhile, is with PLDT in the Premier Volleyball League, while Alba is with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

Madayag, on the other hand, is playing with the Kurobe Aqua Fairies in Japan.

MJ Phillips was among the Filipino players who previously played in Korea in 2023. She tried her luck again in the 2024 draft but was not selected, along with then aspirants Tots Carlos and Mylene Paat.
