PLDT completes three-team PH bets for AVC Women's Champions League

PLDT has been added as the third member of the Philippine delegation for the country's hosting of the 2025 AVC Women's Champions League that will run from April 20 to 27.

The High Speed Hitters will join Creamline and Petro Gazz, which were the first two clubs announced by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) after the Cool Smashers and the Angels topped the elimination round of the ongoing PVL All-Filipino Conference.

“Happy naman na masama kasi higher level of competition. Maraming matututunan at makukuhang experience,” said High Speed Hitters head coach Rald Ricafort.

"We’ll do our best to represent PLDT and our country lalo na na tayo ang host."

The development came after the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) awarded the Philippines a third slot for serving as host nation for the inaugural event.

Currently, PLDT is headed to the quarterfinals of the All-Filipino Conference with the likes of Kath Arado, Majoy Baron, Savi Davison, Fiola Ceballos, Erika Santos, and Mika Reyes leading the pack.
