Angel Canino, Dell Palomata, Jia De Guzman receive individual awards in AVC Nations Cup

After securing a historic silver medal against Vietnam in the AVC Nations Cup on Saturday, three Alas Pilipinas players were recognized as top players of the tournament.

Angel Canino was named as one of the Best Outside Hitters along with Vietnam's Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.

Dell Palomata, meanwhile, was one of the Best Middle Blockers of the tournament, while Philippine team captain Jia De Guzman was named as Best Setter.

Earlier, Chinese Taipei defeated Kazakhstan for the bronze, 17-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-13.
