Alas Pilipinas falls short vs Thailand in SEA V.League campaign opener

The Alas Pilipinas Women fell short against Thailand, 17-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-20, to open its campaign in the first leg of SEA V.League on Friday in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

The Filipinas opened with a bang as they took an early 13-8 lead before claiming the first set. The next set went neck-and-neck, but defending champion Thailand found its groove.

In the fourth set, the Philippines was trailing 20-19 before Thailand claimed the victory.

The Philippines will face Vietnam in their next game on Saturday afternoon.
