LIST: Alas Pilipinas wide roster for 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship
Volleyball World announced on Thursday the wide rosters of teams competing in the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship, which will be held in the Philippines.
The names on the wide roster are still subject to FIVB eligibility verification.
For Alas Pilipinas, the list includes:

- Marck Espejo
- Buds Buddin
- Jade Disquitado
- Liberos
- Josh Ybañez
- Vince Lorenzo
- Jack Kalingking

- Joshua Retamar
- Elijah Kim
- John Michael Paglaon
- Eco Adajar
- Opposite Spikers
- Steven Rotter
- Ike Barilea
- Leo Ordiales
- Louie Ramirez
- Middle Blockers
- Kim Malabunga
- JP Bugaoan
- Lucca Mamone

While the list already features familiar names, here’s some information about new faces such as Ike Barilea, Elijah Kim, and John Michael Paglaon:
Ike Barilea
Barilea, an opposite spiker from 1Silay Volleyball Club, is a 20-year-old player from the Visayas. He joined the training pool in April this year as a standout from the PNVF U21 National Finals.
Elijah Kim
Kim, a 23-year-old setter based in Vancouver, Canada, last played for the Douglas College Royals.
John Michael Paglaon
Paglaon is a 25-year-old setter and a product of Emilio Aguinaldo College in the NCAA. He last played for the Generals in Season 99, where they reached the finals. He also suited up for the Savouge Spin Doctors in the Spikers’ Turf.
The Philippines will host the Men’s Championship from September 12 to 28.
