PHLPost releases commemorative stamp for FIVB Men's World Championship

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has released its commemorative stamps in celebration of the country’s hosting of the FIVB Men’s World Championship this September.

PHLPost Chief of Staff Atty. Marigold L. Arroyo, representing Postmaster General and CEO Maximo Sta. Maria III, and Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) President Ramon “Tats” Suzara led the presentation of the stamps during the “Set Natin ’To” launch event last week.

Arroyo said PHLPost is honored to be part of the historic event.

“PHLPost is honored to be part of this historic milestone, as the world’s best volleyball athletes bring their skill, discipline, and heart to Philippine soil. This is more than a tournament—it is a celebration of resilience and excellence, values that every Filipino athlete carries with pride,” Arroyo said.

“On behalf of PHLPost, we extend our gratitude to the organizers, athletes, and fans—whether in the stands or at home. Together, the Filipino people are set to celebrate not only the sport of volleyball, but also the unity and passion that define us as a community,”

According to the Post Office, 10,000 copies of the commemorative stamp have been printed. Each stamp costs PHP 16. Another set featuring the Philippine flag and mascots Koolog, Kid Lat, and Hataw has also been produced.

The Philippines will host the FIVB Men's World Championship from September 12 to 28.
