Alas Pilipinas foes Tunisia, Iran arrive in Manila ahead of FIVB Men’s World Championship

Teams Tunisia and Iran, both foes of Alas Pilipinas, arrived in the Philippines on Friday just days before the opening of the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship.

The Philippines, Tunisia, and Iran, along with Egypt, make up Group A in the eight-pool tournament.

Alas Pilipinas will open its campaign against Tunisia on the first day of the World Championship on Friday at 4:30 p.m., just before the opening ceremony. Iran, meanwhile, will face the Philippines on Thursday.

Earlier this week, teams from Portugal and Romania also arrived in the country.
