BOYNEXTDOOR, Karencitta banner FIVB Men’s World Championship opening ceremony

BOYNEXTDOOR from South Korea and Cebuana Karencitta hyped the crowd at the opening ceremony of the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena.

BOYNEXTDOOR, composed of Sunghoo, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, are global celebrity ambassadors of the tournament. The group performed their hit “Earth, Wind, and Fire” to cap the ceremony.

Prior to this, Karencitta performed the theme song of the tournament “Electrify.”

Other performers included girl group G22, Buganda Drumline Dancers, and the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group.

Philippine Sports Commission chairman Patrick Gregorio and FIVB President Fabio Azevedo also gave their messages in the opening ceremony.

The match between the Philippines and Tunisia will officially open the tournament.
