PVL: Bystenko, Belen power Capital1 to first win over Nxled in Reinforced Conference

Oleksandra Bystenko and Bella Belen powered Capital1 to its first win, defeating Nxled, 25-20, 23-25, 27-25, 25-12, in the PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Solar Spikers survived a tough third set and cruised through the fourth after narrowly dropping the second to the Chameleons.

Import Bystenko exploded for 39 points off 35 attacks, three blocks, and an ace, while also tallying 17 excellent receptions.

Belen added 15 points to mark her first win in the professional league.

The victory came on the heels of Capital1’s opening loss to PLDT last Monday.

Paola Martinez led Nxled with 20 points as the Chameleons slipped to 0-2.
