PVL: Creamline blanks Galeries; Petro Gazz sinks Chery Tiggo to 0-3

Creamline made quick work of Galeries with a dominant 25-9, 25-11, 25-15 win in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Saturday at the Ilagan Capital Arena in Isabela.

Import Courtney Rose Schwan continued to be an offensive weapon for the defending champions, dropping 14 points together with six digs while team captain Alyssa Valdez poured 10 markers and five receptions.

The win allowed Creamline to race to its second win in a row since dropping a five-set thriller against Akari to open its campaign in the import-laced tournament.

It also allowed the Cool Smashers to flaunt their depth with Rosemarie Vargas and Sheena Toring contributing eight and five points off the bench.

"The first thing I want to say is we tell each other to respect the opponent because if you respect your opponent, you will play with your full ability," Schwan said.

"I wanna say we respect Galeries a lot and I think we pushed as hard as we can in this game."

In the first game, Petro Gazz bounced back from a previous loss to Creamline with a 25-15, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21 victory over the struggling Chery Tiggo.

Brooke Van Sickle and import Lindsey Vander Weide both detonated for 25 points each with Van Sickle also grabbing 20 digs and 15 receptions to complete a triple-double feat while the reinforcement had 11 receptions.

Petro Gazz improved to 2-1 in Pool B while the Crossovers remained winless with a 0-3 card.
