PVL: Chery Tiggo breaks through with sweep of Galeries

Chery Tiggo barged into the win column of the PVL Reinforced Conference after a 25-9, 25-16, 25-23 victory over Galeries Tower on Thursday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

Yunieska Robles-Batista powered the Crossovers with 20 points built on 19 attacks, while Ara Galang chipped in 11 points.

No player scored in double digits for the High Risers, with Ivy Perez and Dimdim Pacres finishing with seven points apiece as Galeries remained winless in four matches.

With the victory, the Crossovers improved to 1-3.
