PVL: Cignal outlasts Nxled in five-setter; PLDT bounces back at expense of Farm Fresh

Cignal outlasted Nxled in a five-set thriller, 25-21, 23-25, 20-25, 25-15, 16-14, on Saturday in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the Ynares Center in Montalban.

Import Katrin Trebichavska and local Erika Santos both dropped 21 points in the victory which improved the Super Spikers to 2-2.

Nxled, meanwhile, remained winless in four games.

Later, PLDT bounced back at the expense of Farm Fresh Foxies, 22-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-16.

Savi Davison had 20 points for the High Speed Hitters, while import Anastasiia Bavykina had 18 points as PLDT improved to 3-1.  Eli Rousseaux, meanwhile, had 21 points as the Foxies slipped to a similar 3-1 record.
