Jia De Guzman of Alas Pilipinas

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation has unveiled the members of the Alas Pilipinas pool barely two months before the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand in December.

Jia De Guzman leads the pool as the battle-tested setter brings her veteran presence in the country's bid to end a long medal drought in the prestigious biennial meet.

Joining De Guzman are another seasoned player in Dawn Macandili-Catindig as well as other playmakers Julia Coronel of Galeries Tower and Mars Alba of Akari.

Joining Macandili-Catindig in manning the floor defense are Jen Nierva of Chery Tiggo and Justine Jazareno of Akari. Alyssa Solomon, who currently plays overseas with Osaka Marvelous, and the returning Kat Tolentino, and Leila Cruz are tasked as the opposite hitters while Shaina Nitura, Eya Laure, Vanie Gandler, Angel Canino, Bella Belen, and Alleiah Malaluan will be the outside hitters.

Manning the net are middle blockers Dell Palomata, Amie Provido, Maddie Madayag, Thea Gagate, and Fifi Sharma.

PNVF president Ramon "Tats" Suzara said the team will hold camp in either Japan or Taiwan from November 15 to 30 before flying to Bangkok for the SEA Games volleyball tournament set on December 10 at the Huamark Indoor Stadium in Bangkok.
