PVL: PLDT keeps Nxled winless, tops Pool A

PLDT kept Nxled winless after a straight sets victory, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20, on Friday in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the Filoil Centre.

With the victory, the High Speed Hitters ended its first round run with a 4-1 card and on top of Pool A, allowing them a slot in Pool D.

Savi Davision had 19 points from 14 attacks, three blocks, and two aces, along with 10 digs and nine receptions to lead PLDT to back-to-back victories. Import Anastasiia Bavykina, meanwhile, had 10 points.

The win spoiled Paola Martinez’ 29-point eruption as Chaira Permentilla led the locals with seven points as the Chameleons remained winless in five games.
