PVL: ZUS Coffee sweeps Nxled to complete near-perfect elimination run in PVL Reinforced Conference

PVL Reinforced Conference 2025: Zus Coffee Thunderbelles

Anna DeBeer and AC Miner lifted ZUS Coffee to a dominant 25-13, 25-21, 25-21 win over the still winless Nxled, capping off a near-perfect elimination round run in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Tuesday at the Ynares Center Montalban.

DeBeer did the heavy lifting by unloading 16 points anchored on 13 attacks, two blocks, and one ace together with 11 digs in the match that lasted for one hour and 26 minutes.

Rookie middle blocker Miner, meanwhile, poured 15 markers built on 13 attacks and two blocks to help the quarterfinals-bound Thunderbelles end their preliminary campaign at the top with a 7-1 card.

The win also gave ZUS Coffee some measure of confidence after sustaining its maiden loss last game, absorbing a 25-12, 26-24, 25-23 loss to a Cignal side that leaned on opposite hitter Erika Santos.

"I really think it's a good win for us, just to get some confidence back after last game and really kinda getting in and working hard for our next game in the quarterfinals," De Beer said.

The loss meant that the Chameleons would close out their campaign with a winless slate as they fell to a 0-8 record despite a 15-point outing from import Paola Martinez and 10-point performance from rookie Lyann De Guzman.
