PVL: Brooke Van Sickle joins elite company after capturing third MVP award
Brooke Van Sickle entered elite territory on Sunday, becoming only the third player in PVL history to claim three MVP titles.
The Filipino-American outside spiker was hailed the top individual player in the 2025 Reinforced Conference after steering Petro Gazz to its fourth overall title with a 21-25, 28-26, 25-23, 25-20 win against ZUS Coffee in the finals.
The 27-year-old Van Sickle captured her third MVP coronation after also winning the same award in the last two All-Filipino Conferences. That feat places her alongside Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos, the only other players to have captured three MVP titles.
Van Sickle was also named one of the two Best Outside Spikers alongside Savi Davison of PLDT while Farm Fresh's Trisha Tubu was hailed as the Best Opposite Spiker.
Although ZUS Coffee failed to secure its breakthrough title, the franchise still made a statement in the conference with Cloanne Mondoñedo and AC Miner claiming the Best Setter and Rookie of the Conferences awards.
Thunderbelles' import Anna DeBeer was also crowned the Best Foreign Player for helping bring the squad to their maiden finals appearance.
Maddie Madayag of Choco Mucho and Jeanette Panaga of Creamline were the Best Middle Blockers as Flying Titans' Thang Ponce claimed her fifth Best Libero recognition.
