PVL: Choco Mucho parts ways with Aduke Ogunsanya, Bia General
Choco Mucho announced the departure of two key players in middle blocker Aduke Ogunsanya and libero Bia General as the Flying Titans move toward a roster reset following a string of early exits in recent PVL conferences.
Choco Mucho bid goodbye to Ogunsanyan after a three-year stint while General left the team after a one-year run with the Flying Titans.
Ogunsanya, a former La Salle standout in the UAAP, joined the Flying Titans in January 2022 to bolster the frontcourt that featured the likes of Maddie Madayag and other former players in Bea de Leon and Ponggay Gaston.
But the 5-foot-9 middle blocker suffered several injuries, including an ACL tear in March 2024 that sidelined her for months.
Meanwhile, defensive specialist General was picked up by Choco Mucho last year from Cignal together with setter Mars Alba and outside spiker Mean Mendrez.
The move came after Choco Mucho's ninth place finish in the previous PVL Reinforced Conference, where the Flying Titans failed to enter the playoffs with a 3-5 win-loss record.
