Strong Group Athletics sign vets Royse Tubino, Chie Saet
Strong Group Athletics is injecting veteran firepower into its fold, signing seasoned spiker Royse Tubino and renowned setter Chie Saet ahead of the new PVL conference.
SGA is bringing in the two vets after Tubino parted ways with Choco Mucho and Saet ended her stint with Petro Gazz that recently reigned supreme in the 2025 Reinforced Conference.
The 32-year-old Tubino is now set to play for her third PVL club following stops with PLDT and the Flying Titans, while the 41-year-old Saet will play for a new team for the first time in her professional career.
Saet had been part of the Angels since 2018 and helped the squad win a number of PVL titles, further proving her case as one of the best playmakers in Philippine volleyball.
Meanwhile, another former Choco Mucho player in Bia General found her way to SGA after closing a one-year run with the Flying Titans.
SGA, which manages both Farm Fresh and ZUS Coffee, has yet to announce which team the three newly signed players will join once the new conference kicks off.
In another team, Creamline is also shaking things up after bidding farewell to Michelle Morente after a brief stint with the league's winningest team.
Prior to joining the Cool Smashers, Morente had seen action in several clubs like PLDT, Petro Gazz, and F2 Logistics.
