Nxled signs five former Petro Gazz players ahead of new PVL conference

Nxled further bolstered its roster after signing five former players from Petro Gazz, which recently announced its leave of absence from the PVL.

The Chameleons brought in veterans Nicole Tiamzon and Bang Pineda as well as middle blocker Ranya Musa, setter Djanel Cheng, and libero Jellie Tempiatura, all of whom previously suited up for the Angels.

The Chameleons also acquired another setter in Joyme Cagande and rising spiker AA Adolfo to add depth to their young squad that already features the likes of Lucille Almonte, Lyann De Guzman, and EJ Laure.

Aside from these new signings, Nxled had already revealed that it inked deals with Aby Maraño and Jonah Sabete. The decorated Maraño joined the club after her previous team, Chery Tiggo, announced its exit from the professional scene while Sabete was also part of Petro Gazz' last team.

Last season, Nxled failed to reach any podium after finishing last in the All-Filipino Conference and 11th in the Reinforced Conference.
