PVL: PLDT spoils Belen’s career-high 28 for second win

The PLDT High Speed Hitters spoiled Bella Belen’s career-high 28-point performance to secure their second straight victory, 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

Belen finished with a professional career-high 28 points built on 26 attacks, one block, and one ace, along with 12 excellent receptions.

However, Kim Kianna Dy and Savi Davison paced the High Speed Hitters with 20 points apiece. Dy tallied 16 attacks and four blocks, on top of 11 digs, while Davison delivered 17 attacks and added 11 receptions.

Setter Kim Fajardo orchestrated the offense with 25 excellent sets, while Majoy Baron chipped in 11 points.

With the win, PLDT improved to 2-0, while Capital1 dropped to 1-2.
