PVL: Savi Davison leads PLDT past Farm Fresh in five-setter; Cignal sweeps ZUS Coffee

The PVL All-Filipino Conference continued on Thursday at the Filoil Centre with Savi Davison leading the PLDT High Speed Hitters secure a five-set win over the Farm Fresh Foxies, 25-17, 23-25, 27-25, 21-25, 15-10.

Davison scored 32 points, coming from 28 attacks, three blocks, and an ace, along with 13 receptions and 12 digs as PLDT improved to 5-1.

Kim Kianna Dy added 19 points for PLDT, while Majoy Baron and Alleiah Malaluan contributed nine points each. Kim Fajardo recorded 19 excellent sets.

For Farm Fresh, Royse Tubino led with 17 points, followed by Trisha Tubu with 16 and Ces Molina with 14 as the Foxies fell to 2-4.

In an earlier match, Cignal HD Spikers swept the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, 25-18, 25-23, 25-22.

Vanie Gandler led Cignal with 20 points and 13 receptions, while Roselyn Doria-Aquino added 11.

For ZUS Coffee, Chinnie Arroyo and Thea Gagate both scored 11 points as the team fell to 1-6.
