NCAA 101 women’s volleyball: Letran’s Lara Mae Silva and Nat Estreller

Multi-time Best Libero Lara Mae Silva and veteran setter Nat Estreller are ready to turn the page in their volleyball careers as they declared to join the PVL Draft.

Silva and Estreller recently helped Colegio de San Juan de Letran end a 28-year title drought after the Lady Knights dethroned the four-time defending champion De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde to win the NCAA Season 101 women’s volleyball crown, their first since 1998.

Individually, Silva also shone brightly in the league. She captured the Best Libero award for third consecutive years in Seasons 99, 100, and 101, becoming one of the league's finest court defenders.

Silva and Estreller were key cogs in Letran’s back-to-back finals appearances in Seasons 99 and 100, though the Lady Knights fell short both times against the Lady Blazers. The pair then helped rewrite history in Season 101, guiding Letran to a perfect 15-0 run before stunning Benilde in the finals.

They are now ready to move on to the professional level.

The PVL will open rookie applications on April 20 and hold the third Draft proper in June.

In 2024, ZUS Coffee made former La Salle standout Thea Gagate the top overall pick while Capital1 selected three-time UAAP MVP Bella Belen as the number one pick in the 2025 edition.
