PVL: Nxled bolsters lineup with addition of Gel Cayuna, Jackie Acuña

Nxled continued to strengthen its roster for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season after securing the services of veteran setter Gel Cayuna and middle blocker Jackie Acuña.

The Chameleons announced the signing of the two former Cignal stars on Saturday, giving their mix of youth and veteran roster a much-needed boost in experience and leadership.

Cayuna and Acuña were both part of the Cignal squad that filed for a leave of absence from the league just weeks after their gallant finals run in the recent PVL All-Filipino Conference.

They became the latest Cignal players to find a new home after the hard-hitting tandem of Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos joined Capital1, and Erin Pangilinan signed with Creamline.

At Nxled, Cayuna and Acuña will join the likes of Brooke Van Sickle, Myla Pablo, Aby Maraño, EJ laure, Jonah Sabete, MJ Phillips, and Djanel Cheng as the squad looks to capture its breakthrough title.

In the previous All-Filipino edition, Nxled showed plenty of promise after advancing to the third round of the play-in stage, only to bow out to Farm Fresh in a sweep.
