PVL On Tour: Nxled sweeps Galeries Tower, Akari defeats Choco Mucho

Nxled and Akari came away with victories in the PVL on Tour on Saturday at the Polomolok Gymnasium in South Cotabato.

The Chameleons opened the doubleheader with a straight-set victory over Galeries Tower, 25-23, 25-23, 25-20, in a match that lasted one hour and 38 minutes.

Myla Pablo led Nxled with 14 points built on 13 attacks, while EJ Laure Cariño and MJ Phillips chipped in nine points each.

For the High Risers, Erika Deloria finished with 13 points, while Jean Asis added 11.

In the second match, Akari bounced back from a third-set setback to defeat Choco Mucho, 27-25, 27-25, 21-25, 25-22.

Chenie Tagaod starred for the Chargers with 19 points, highlighted by 11 attacks, five blocks, and three aces. Ivy Lacsina and Grethcel Soltones contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Caitlin Viray and Mean Mendrez paced the Flying Titans with 16 points apiece, while Maddie Madayag added 14 points and Jewel Encarnacion chipped in 11.
