AiAi delas Alas on ex-husband Gerald Sibayan's remarriage: 'Good luck'

AiAi Delas Alas has spoken about the remarriage of her ex-husband, Gerald Sibayan, to his non-showbiz girlfriend.

On Thursday's episode, "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" reached out to the Comedy Queen for her reaction to the news.

In a statement, she said she has been expecting Gerald to tie the knot.

"We all know it would happen. I expected it when he separated from me," AiAi said in Filipino. "He needs to stay in America so he needs to get married."

"Hopefully, he won't do what he did to others what he did to me," she added.

AiAi previously filed for the revocation of Gerald's green card petition after their split.

"Let's let him be. At least, he's in a suit, not just a polo," AiAi said.

"All I know is, the woman he married is English-speaking because one month before Gerald left me, he was already speaking to me in English," she added.

AiAi is thankful for the messages of love and support sent her way.

"You don't have to worry. I am truly OK, with the help of the Lord and Mama Mary," AiAi said. "Let's not be affected by the marriage because I am not affected. I have been moving forward for a long time."

"Gerald said 'I do,' AiAi says 'good luck,'" she said.

AiAi said in an October 2024 "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" interview that she and Gerald have separated after 10 years of being together.
