PH National Cinema Day: 'Poon,' 'Saving Cherry,' more films to be screened on Sept. 12

Several local and international classic films are set to hit select cinemas on September 12 for the inaugural Philippine National Cinema Day!

Among the films that will be screened are Will Ashley-starrer horror film “Poon” and “Saving Cherry,” starring Barbie Forteza.

• “Four Sisters and a Wedding”
• “Don’t Look Back in Anger”
• “Spiderman: Brand New Day”
• “Hope”
• “Cahim: Sins Walk”
• “The Conjuring: The Last Rites"
• “Project Hail Mary”
• “Final Destination: Bloodlines”
• “Backrooms”
• “Obsession"

Ticket prices start at P100 for regular tickets in participating SM, Ayala Malls, Robinsons, and Megaworld Cinemas.

The inaugural Philippine National Cinema Day was launched by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP) in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
