MANILA, Philippines - A day after the bodies of two suspected robbers were dumped near the Department of Foreign Affairs building, the Pasay City government ordered the lighting of all key city streets. Radio dzBB's Denver Trinidad reported Thursday that city mayor Wenceslao Trinidad issued the order after the discovery of the bodies before dawn Wednesday. The bodies of the two suspects were dumped at a street near the DFA, their hands tied and their faces covered with tape. The two had been released from the Parañaque City jail Tuesday. While Trinidad insisted the dumping of the "summarily executed" suspects in his city was an "isolated case," he ordered street lighting beefed up to prevent bodies from being dumped in the city. - GMANews.TV
