BORACAY ISLAND, Philippines - A Boracay-based body-building champion on Thursday said he was backing out of a December international competition in Germany, citing personal reasons. Omar Legasion was considered as one of the participants in the international contest in Germany this year after he won 6th place in the World Championship Body Building Competition medium category in Athens, Greece last June. Legasion, who works as a gym and fitness instructor at the Seraph Hotel on Boracay’s White Beach area, said he wanted to concentrate on his job. "I hope there would still be many international opportunities and even local contest next year," he told GMANews.TV. Legasion, a native of Metro Manila who started his body building exercises in 2001, was first runner up in the Mr. Philippines World Qualifier in November 2007. - GMANews.TV
