Armed men seize, abandon SUV in Quezon

Police are tracking down a group of armed men who carjacked a sport-utility vehicle in Tagkawayan town in Quezon province Monday night.

The incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. along Quirino Highway in Barangay San Isidro, GMA News correspondent Peewee Bacuño reported Tuesday.

An investigation showed the Mitsubishi Montero Sport (WIM-122) driven by Ferdinand Daez, 46, was heading for Bicol when four men aboard a green car blocked the SUV's path.

At gunpoint, the men took the SUV and the driver's belongings.
