How to win Maine Mendoza’s heart: Remember little details, be thoughtful

Sa loob lamang ng halos tatlong buwan, itinuturing na bilang isa sa fastest-rising star ang Dubsmash Queen at Kalyeserye sweetheart na si Maine Mendoza o mas kilala bilang Yaya Dub sa Kalyeserye ng noontime show na Eat Bulaga.

 

Kasabay nga ng tuloy-tuloy niyang pagsikat, marami ang nahuhumaling sa natural na ganda ni Yaya Dub kahit na madalas siyang magpapangit tuwing nagda-Dubsmash sa harap ng camera.

 

Gaya ng kaniyang ka-loveteam na si Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, single rin si Maine ngayon, at sa isang blog post, ibinahagi ng dalaga kung ano ang ilan sa mga maliliit na bagay na makakapagpatibok sa kaniyang puso. 
 

Aniya, “It is nice to have someone in your life who knows the little details about you. It actually makes my heart flutter when someone remembers the minor things about me.” 

 

“It’s when someone remembers and notices the little things about you. The things you tell them and/or the things they observe. When they pay attention to the little details MORE than the big ones. Someone who doesn’t remember everything but the important, overlooked little piece of information,” dagdag pa niya.

 

Masaya rin daw ang dalaga sa tuwing mayroong mga taong nagiging thoughtful sa kaniya kahit sa pamamagitan lamang ng maliliit na bagay.

 

Hindi raw niya gustong mapaulanan ng mga mamahaling regalo o mga bulaklak dahil ang mga maliliit na bagay raw ang may pinakamalaking epekto sa kaniyang puso.

 

Paliwanag ni Maine, “ It feels nice to know that certain people in you life know numerous things about you, may it be big or small– the things you like, and those that you don’t.”

 

Dagdag pa niya, “When they show random acts of thoughtfulness like ordering cheeseburger without pickles at McDonald’s because he/she knows that I don’t like pickles in my burger. Or removing pineapple bits on my slice of Hawaiian pizza because I prefer eating them separately, or maybe just getting Pepperoni pizza instead because they know it’s my favorite.”

 

“You know, you don’t need to get me fancy stuff or surprise me with flowers and a teddy bear to make me happy. I do appreciate the big things but it’s the SMALL ones that get me the most,” pagtatapos ng dalaga. — RSJ, GMA News
