A Nigerian national was arrested after threatening to kill the owner of a hotel in Baybay City, Leyte.

A report on GMA News' Unang Balita identified the suspect as Vincent Chinaka.

Police said Chinaka went amok after the hotel asked him to pay for his 13-day stay at the establishment.

Aside from threatening to kill the hotel owner, the Nigerian also allegedly boasted that he was a drug dealer.

The Nigerian also threatened to kill the policemen who arrived at the hotel.

During investigation, the police found out that Chinaka was also involved in a similar incident at a local drug store.

Police also seized a sachet of suspect shabu and drug paraphernalia from the suspect's room. —ALG, GMA News
