Two men killed in separate incidents in Cavite and Malabon City

A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout during a buy bust operation held in Barangay Toclong, Kawit in Cavite on Wednesday evening, James Agustin reported for Super Radyo's dzBB.

A poseur-buyer was supposed to buy P400-worth of shabu from the suspect, Donald Pallarco. However, Pallarco learned that he was transacting with a police officer and immediately took out his pistol and a shootout ensued.

Kawit Police Chief Insp. Resty Soriano said the suspect is a known drug pusher in Barangay Toclong and had been encouraged to give up through the government's anti-illegal drug campaign, Oplan Tokhang, but he refused.

Authorities recovered a calibre. 38 pistol and five grams of shabu.

Meanwhile, the remains of a man was discovered early Thursday morning at the corner of P. Aquino and Gozon compound in Malabon City reported Luisito Santos for Super Radyo's dzBB.

The police found a cardboard near the body with the words, "Adik at magnanakaw ako."

Authorities are conducting separate investigations on both incidents. — BAP, GMA News
