Three years ago, Born to be Wild documented the release of critically endangered Philippine crocodiles in Surigao Del Norte.  This week, Doc Ferds and the team join croc experts to check on the crocs and their new community.  But before they can begin the survey, a Philippine crocodile with severe wounds was brought to Doc Ferds and the team; the croc is in need of immediate treatment.  The team finds out that the croc’s legs are beginning to rot from its wounds and amputation is needed to save the animal.

In famed Mt. Makiling in Laguna, Doc Nielsen documents the unusual relationship between fig trees and wasps.  Wasps locally known as “putakti” are very essential to the survival of fig trees.  But because wasps are even smaller than ants, special lenses are required to record their behavior.  Discover the beautiful and unexpected give and take relationship between the fig tree and the wasp.
