Man shot at in front of crowd in Sasmuan, Pampanga

CCTV footage caught a man taking out a gun and shooting at another individual in front of a crowd of people in Sasmuan, Pampanga.

In a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, the shooter, identified as Arwin Manansala, was caught on camera attempting to shoot at Nico Neil Isip, who was able to avoid the shot and flee the area.

Manansala was accompanied by his son Jon Andrei Manansala, who may have served as the lookout.

According to Isip, the two men had surrendered to the government's campaign against illegal drugs in the past. He believes they may have thought he had tipped off police authorities regarding the illegal drug trade in the area.

"Surrenderee po kasi 'yung mga 'yan eh. Akala niya tini-timbre ko, eh wala naman akong pakialam sa kanila. Wala akong ginagawa," Isip said.
