Minors aged 15, 9 caught on cam taking P24k from Bulacan grocery

A 15-year-old and a nine-year-old broke into a grocery store in Balagtas, Bulacan on Saturday.

According to Ivan Mayrina's report on "24 Oras", CCTV footage showed the two minors looking for money in the dark before taking P24,000 from the store.

The footage also showed that they were alarmed upon seeing the CCTV camera.

One of them moved and pointed the camera to another direction.

"Itong kanilang pagnanakaw at pagpasok dito sa grocery store ay lahat nakunan ng CCTV camera," said Police Chief Inspector Restituto Granil.

The report said authorities were able to arrest the minors after the incident was reported.

According to the report, the minors were also involved in a theft incident in a certain school last October, adding that they have been addicted to playing computer games. —Anna Felicia Bajo/NB, GMA News
