Online peddler of marijuana nabbed in Quezon City buy-bust

Quezon City policemen arrested an online reseller of weed and seized P60,000 worth of marijuana in a buy-bust operation.

According to Cesar Apolinario's report on Balitanghali, before the transaction took a picture of the marijuana and sent it to the poseur buyer.

The buyer then took a selfie with the money meant for the marijuana.

The suspect Christian Alcala, alias Apollo Haze, and the buyer met outside a fastfood restaurant for the transaction.

Officers from the Quezon City Police Department Station 4 rushed to the scene and arrested the suspect after he received the money from the buyer.

Investigation showed that Alcala's marijuana came from a supplier in Kalinga. It is supposedly the same supplier, from whom a criminology student who was arrested last month got his marijuana.

Alcala will face charges against the violation of The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act No. 9165. —Joviland Rita/NB, GMA News
