NGCP: Power interruptions hit parts of Quezon, CamSur, Iloilo on Saturday

Some parts of the provinces of Quezon, Camarines Sur, and Iloilo are experiencing power interruptions for almost the entire day on Saturday, March 16, 2019, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said.

In an advisory, NGCP said preventive maintenance and testing works have been scheduled to be conducted at the Lopez substation of the Gumaca-Lopez-Tagkawayan 69 kilovolt (kv) line , which will result in power interruptions in areas serviced by the Quezon Electric Cooperative I (QUEZOLCO I) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Likewise, maintenance activity along the Naga-Libmanan 69 kv line and testing of substation equipment at Pamplona and Libmanan Load End Substations will affect customers of Camarines Sur Electric Cooperative I (CASURECO I) from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In Iloilo, maintenance activities along the Hamtic-Miag-ao - Tigbauan 69 kv line will affect the power service supplied to customers of Iloilo Electric Cooperative I (ILECO I) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. —Ted Cordero/KG, GMA News
